So if pregnancy is giving you a hard time when it comes to pooping, what can you do?
If you have been experiencing constipation there are a number of things you can do. Firstly, drinking plenty of water keeps your entire body running better! Drink plenty of fluids! Increase your fiber intake! It is recommended that during pregnancy you get about 28 grams of fiber each day. Be sure to exercise regularly. If you suspect your prenatal vitamins are contributing to your constipation and/or natural remedies are not working, you should discuss it with your doctor or midwife. Some times over the counter or prescription medication is recommended.
